I have my own radio talk show.. I did my first show this past week. I have another one I am doing tonight. I am so thrill on how well it turned out. I hope this becomes more of a exciting this for me... Just to think, my country self talking over the net.. LOL

Well I have been away for awhile. I just thought that I would come over here and post some of my thoughts.. I am in LOVE more now that ever. I think the hard work and my patients finally paid off.. He told me after the last 3 years and a half that he loves me.. ooooooooooooooooooOOOOOO.. I am love it...

Interracial Dating

I am one of those people whom says, Love who you love. We all know we can't control whom we fall in love with. I know myself I can't help it. I do know there is something that I would not do. I frankly don't care to do either. It is not in my best judgment, I feel it won't do anything but hurt me in the long run.
I call it interracial dating. Yes when you date someone outside your race. Now I am not knocking those who choose to do it. This is my personal preference only. Why do I feel the way I do about it? Well I have several reasons behind it. I am just gonna state a few.
My biggest thing is I don't have anything in common with some people from other races.
I do appreciate those who can pull it off though.







I had family members date and even married outside their race.
They had a lot of stress, pain, and disappointments. I don't see if it is really worth it.
Here I see a lot of my Black Males getting into trouble for dating white women. Good people just given a hard time. We still live in a world where the color of your skin automatically assume you are a bad person. These cases are just sad.
What am I trying to say is: Is it really worth the fussing and fighting?

The Controversy.....

Today in South Carolina Jessie Jackson is here to meet we some people a the Fountain Inn South Carolina police station.
There is a little controversy that happened back in July.
I never heard it on the news, but it became known to me when I read it in the Greenville Journal. (a free newspaper). I hope someone can give his family and friends the answers that they are looking for.

Here is the Story:
Richard Javas Johnson a 25 year old black male, from Fountain Inn South Carolina was found hanged in his jail cell with a long sleeve tee shirt. He was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine around 11pm that night. The two officers who brought him in found him at 11:30pm hanging from the bars of the cell by a long sleeved T-Shirt.

The Johnson family announced over the airwaves and newspapers that they don’t believe Johnson committed suicide. During a program at 107.3 Jamz radio, Johnson’s fiancee, Candace Fowler, said he had everything to live for, including a new job he was starting the very next day. She said that he wasn't wearing a long sleeve shirt in the hot days of July.
we all know it was in the 100's toward the end of July.

"“I pray the truth will come out, no matter how long it takes,”
(his mother said in the interview)

I hope they find Justice.. I hope and pray the truth does come out.
Something just doesn't seems right here.

I am a Spiritual woman, yet not Religous

From the video about is one of the reasons, I have a hard time with the politics of the church.
Yes we all know that we need to go to the house of the Lord.
I feel some of the congregation and the pastors etc etc, makes it hard to go.

I 've had some bad experiences with dealing with churches. I love God, and I except Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I pray, I repent, and I feel that God does really answer prayers. I have weathered many storms through the grace of him.

I have evangelist tell me to take off my makeup in front of the members of the church. I even had my own pastor tell me he was an alcoholic.

I look up to these people, so why is it in alot of churches so many are doing wrong. They preach to live the right way. The tell you things are a sin, yet they are committing them too.

I will still believe you can have church at home. I go to church just not as often as I once did. Until I find a church that I can feel more comfortable in, I will remain a spiritual person.
We all have to find our personal relationship with God.

I was talking to my BFF this morning, and I thought about something that I said to him.
I remember back after me and MC decided to just be friends.
Yes to those who used to read my blogs on the daily..
I am finally moving on in my life..

MC said he missed "THE SEX" or he is GONNA miss "THE SEX"
something to that effect, and the phone conversations,
I miss the phone conversations cause at times we had a ball talking.

Then the BFF said are you deeper than sex.
I said, I think that I am, at least hope I am.


Although I am a sexual being,there is more to me than the skills of Larissa.

I feel that I am a smart, beautiful, caring, and loving woman.
I go out my way, to make sure everyone is happy.
In my spare time I read, watch news, and play on the internet.
I am there for my friends and family.

I have written poems, stories, and I blog constantly.
I am my own worst critic, cause I am afraid of letting anyone read them.
My daily life consist of chit chatting with people at work, and coming home to mind my own business.

I just wish sometimes someone, anybody can look at me in the eye.

Being Sexy and Sensual....

I feel that I am composed of both of these traits. It isn't all the time I see them in other women. I am going to take you through my mind for a bit.

Nice Teeth and good hygiene is a must in order to be sexy.
I think a well dressed person with the nice pair of shoes is sexy.
I love for a man to have a nice trimmed goatee and sideburns.
No chest hair is very sexy to me. I don't know why I don't like it..
I also dont mind if the man gets manicures or pedicures. I dont like dirty hands and nails.

6 Arrested in Week long Attack on Woman

6 in W.Va. Charged With Beating, Sexually Assaulting Woman Held Captive in House for a Week.

Now I tell you this, I had to post my opinion over here about this subject.

Well as we mourn for those in the war and what happened on 9-11-2001.
We still have hatred living among us.
Let me give you a little hight lights on this story.

A woman was sexually abused, beaten and humiliated while being held captive in a home for at least a week.
Those arrested, including a mother and son and a mother and daughter, are white. The victim, a Charleston woman who was being treated at a hospital Monday, is black. The FBI plans to investigate it as a possible hate crime.

This young woman was stabbed, rapped and tortured.
I am still asking myself, will she get her justice.
She we are already going through the racist acts of Jena 6.
Now here come this story which does touch me dearly.

The reason why this story touches me is because what happen to one of my family members. I wasn't born when this happened but have been reminded of it a time or two.

Well she was raped by 6 white men.
I am not going to go all in detail, cause it hurts me.
A child was conceived, which none of them will claim they had a part in.
She ended up suffering for the rest of her life.

The lies that were told and the issue was swept under the rug.
A few of her kids had to feel the effect of this also. Her daughter which is one of those men's child, has suffered mental illness.

Again I say, I hope that young 23 yr old woman, get her justice.

I am back...

I have made it back to blogspot. I know it has been awhile.

Some might remember me and some might not.
I think my last post here was when I started my dreads.
Well now it is going on two years and I can say I am happy with the turn out.

I am going to update and give you a little run down on what's been going on. The last 2 and a half years.

I finally got rid of that MC.. I am more honest with myself. I am finally happy and with the way things are now.

I got my writing motivation back . So I might post some days more than once. I have a lot on my mind right now. So watch out.
