I was a spoiled child.. I didn't never think I was until now.. I had it made.. :( to bad I can't have it my way and still be spoiled.. (I don't like working)... Anyhoo.. My 1st job was Arby's... My cousin's girl friend was a manger there.. So my mom talked her into getting me a job.. I was 19 and i moved back home from Charlotte, NC and my mom thought it was time I started working...
She had me start on a freaking Saturday... I wasn't happy one bit and I was a told fuck up on my 1st day... She was getting mad at me.. Me being the little brat I was.. I didn't give a crap.. I didn't want to work in the 1st damn place.. When I got home... I was so HAPPY I was about to go out with my Girlfriend at the time.. She was proud I had a job.. She was complaining about me having too much time on my hands.. So working was ok if it was ok with her..
As time when on.. I became a shift manager... The funniest memory with that job.. This lady that worked next door.. She ordered a triple cheese melt sub.. Well I didn't think to put meat on it because it said triple cheese... She gets to bite her sub and it didn't have any roast beef.. She came back just a fussing.. "where is my meat ?"...I died laughing at her..
I quit that job after 8 months though.. I got tired of spending my weekends there.. I got tired of closing at 10 but couldn't leave until everyone else was done with their work.. I wasn't getting home until 12 or 1 in the morning and having to be at Greenville Tech at 7am... After I quite Arby's I didn't go back to work until a year later... March of 1995 I eneded up at Bi-lo and I have been there ever since...

My first Day was a Closing Shift on a Saturday; my feet are hurting now due to remembering... lol!
I was spoiled too. Never had to work until I HAD to work...meaning I was expecting.

Closing shifts on Saturdays suck, especially when you can be out doing other things.
I hate Arbys, that shit is nasty.
I think we've all had a job in fast food. When I worked at McDonalds, I hated it. I closed too and that really sucked.
