I don't think I ever had one... If it AINT Jesus.. Then I never came across one...
People that I thought were my BFF'S turned out to be liars, backstabbers, cheaters, and opportunists...
So NO I can not say the day I found my best friend...
My mother is my only TRULY friend... God is my Best Bud in the world and I found them on the day I was born...
Now don't get me wrong.. I do have some wonderful friends but those wonderful people I call FAMILY...
Darn that was very easy.. I don't trust or put anything past anyone.. Had too many scars, pain, hurt, and let downs... So I keep my people I call family close...

Your post reminded me of the line in the Whodini song... "Friends...One's we can depend on". When people betray our trust, it can definitely make it harder to trust those that come after them...
