I am not getting it. I was watching the news and California is now banning same sex marriages. I was thinking that Cali was the state that homosexuals was free to roam.
I tell you I don't think it is right to tell someone they can not marry one another. Heck I have heard cases where a father married his daughter and he got to do so.
How can a person tell me I can not marry who I want? If I happen to fall in love with a woman. I feel that I can not live my life without her. The government will tell me I can not put a ring on her finger.
A lot of people say it is not morally right to do such a thing. A marriage should be between woman and man. Well in some people eyes it might be wrong. I also know people who are church goers say it is not right in God's eyes. Well I say God is a forgiven God. He died for our sins. God always know your heart, he knows everything. So when that time comes and you ask the Lord to forgive you . You turn and give your life to God. I don't believe you are going to hell for love. God is love..
I have family members that are gay. I have for a very long time straddle the fence myself. So I don't think no one should tell me that I am not able to join someone that I love. I think that is why I feel I will never get married. I think it is just a piece of paper that tells the government you are together. Why give them all your business?
So I feel like it is wrong for them to give them that right and then take it away. I pray to my sisters and brothers in the LGBT community. Maybe one day you will get your wish...
