Day 8.. No means NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 8....
What is your definition of rape? Date rape?

The actual definition for Rape or Date Rape....

1.the unlawful compelling of a woman through physical force or duress to have sexual intercourse.

2.any act of sexual intercourse that is forced upon a person.

date rape

noun
sexual intercourse forced by a man upon the woman with whom he has a date with.

I really didn't want to write on this topic.. I started this challenge so I must abide by it's rules.. Me being a victim of both. It is hard to really talk about this type of stuff...

All I can say is that NO means No.. Regardless if you been with the person before or even dating the person. If this person says NO they do not want to have SEX.. Just walk away and let it be.

My definition of RAPE is when a person puts force on you. It doesn't even have to be sexual intercourse. When this person is forcing you to do something that you don't want to do. That is rape. It is a sad act that mostly happens to Women and younger children. This act can change a person's life. It will make them feel dirty, unworthy, and severe DEPRESSION. It violates the persons body. It can cause the person to never trust again, and also to live in fear...

Date Rape is the type of RAPE that a lot of times is hard to prove. They build a trust, they get along, they might even have those feelings.. Especially if the two parties have been dating. The person that is doing such act, might think it ok because they already share kiss or those thoughts of having sex.. Any type of rape isn't ok. I don't care if you been with this person for years.. If you don't want to have sex, you have the right not to.

Any type of violence against a person will is wrong.. If you know someone who is a victim and is afraid to speak up.. Telling them to talk to someone.. The best part of moving on is opening up and releasing their thoughts.

Statics shows that someone is being sexually assault every 2 minutes a day... Two out of three the victim knew the person..

It AMAZES me, the amount of people who have been sexually assaulted! Had I known back then, I might have spoken up!

I think us as women are always going to be targeted.. It is sad.. I was young when it first happened to me.. My family said always pray about it.. He got scared.. It hurt me more because it was my best friend's brother. So I was no longer able to be her friend because their family ended moving away... I spoke up and I knew it wasn't right.. I still have the scars though.. I have forgave him, I hope and pray that he never did it again..

Straight and to the point...::kudos::

I hate to find out this happened to people I know. It's heart-breaking to know that a lot of women are out there walking around broken, because they were afraid no one would believe the.
